MemberOk, so keep the streaming for personal use…. well makes some sense now, although in the end i would not bother streaming, but still i guess it helps saving up those GB since its like water for a digital Deejay. Thanks again ellgieff. And yes being in a country where neat websites like these are not available is kinda frustrating, i guess ill add that website to VEVO and other stuff my country can’t have……

MemberYou are Right on that, sometimes my enthusiasm can takeover myself, but the fact you said “because we all already know” that is the whole point, we know its happening, we know its there, but how many of us are taking action? very few. I am college student, aspiring DJ and nothing else, so the best I can do is spread the word and encourage people and at the same time become a better DJ. Nevertheless I appreciate your concern, i am truthfully open to any kind of criticism since that is how a Dj, even any kind of person learns and grow, next time could you send or post any other concern on my member profile wall because at the end of this sentence, i still haven’t received any abstract answer to my first post/question. Other members with same doubts will see the posts and I don’t want them to not find their solutions.
cheers

Member@ Fxn-L :Thanks for the advice anyways!! And if you can help me, can you identify if this track is a Dubstep or not, i kinda have my doubts on it…..
AshtheRookieDJ
MemberHaha, already have that one, I just love Pendulum!!! Funny thing I live in Milan, from where I see it, Dubstep doesn’t Exist here. Only Techno, House, A few Trance and a lot of Italian Disco. But as you can see I already have the track you suggested, which explains that I got a decent wide Musical Horizon.

Member@ jezalenko definitely agree on the luxury side, coming from a tech background, waveforms are my musical notes. But still, learning a manual car before the automatic, the same ethic on DJing is essential for me. Although i am saving up my money for a Traktor S4, I have my Dad’s old CDJ which I think I might have a go to learn the good old basics, then again I would not go that far by grabbing vinyl. So i guess my take is:
Not too Old like Vinyls, but not too New like iPad or iPhone, stay FRESH, stay DiGiTAL@ mr stifffy Your probably quite talented that you can DJ and manage yourself that good on your iPad, i wouldn’t do it but hey, that’s just me. My cousin’s friend is a iPDJ and he can make some CDJ look bad, in a good way:p

Member here you go, much better (mashup enthusiast, this one is in for the taking!!)
AshtheRookieDJ
MemberI was just listening to a mash-up yesterday, http://youtu.be/HYHtcH5lRDw , made my feet tremble, oh, and the video is pretty too, but focus on the mash-up. the guy is a genius…..

MemberLove no. 7 Acceptance of DJ Evolution, I guess in the next 20 years or so will be scratching and beatmatching with iPads:p.

MemberThanks mr_john, will definitely try some of Kaskade’s bootlegs, and I guess I have to build up my library for the old stuff since as far as I got for old is Vintage Rock. Cheers:)

Member@ DJ Max D. A big Thank you, just what I needed, at least before I get my own set, funny the last beer one, but i guess i am good on that since i only have jack D. on the rocks:p.
@NewportdjDrew Yeah I guess the mouse movement is a bit of a problem, so keyboard mapping all the way to go. Thanks!!AshtheRookieDJ
Memberawesome track emma, def. a must for deep house and a great warm-up, the soft vocals and beats will get some serious warming up on the floor, and hey- even the bartender will start shacking to the beat at the beginning of a great night. No “good lucks” for your next set, because with that taste of music (which gives a glimpse of your talent), you don’t need any. muchas graziaz for the track.:D

Member@ D- Jam: I def. know some tracks that people are indeed sick of, but yeah i guess deeper and darker is the way 2 go, and yes the crowd does play a big role, i mean, once summer season starts, even the warm up songs change the genre completely. @Fxn-L the song you suggested was addictive, i would even put it as a main course item for a gig, older house is the way to go since it’s safe from where I see it (just my opinion, if other do tell!!) but using acid, hmmmm.. that will be something new for me, will try look for some good acid tracks where i can rub my creative cookie on it.
still great advice from both of you guys, big thanks!!:):)
