ParticipantI love women so I go out and just meet random strangers. Now I don’t have so much free time so I spend it mostly with my gf and thats the best time for me… Nothing like sleeping with someone against you, or cooking a big breakfast on saturday mornings for someone… I love just to chill out and watch movies, especially in theater. There is just soo much I love to do! Walks in the park in the summer are epic! The list just goes on!

ParticipantIts so great to see that there are many people on here who love travel! Myself, I’ve lived in Thailand for 3 months with my best buddy who studies there. So many stories from there. I turned 20 there also… his family was amazing, and the parties were fucking amazing I cant wait to go back. 2013 Spring time I am leaving canada for an epic work/travel adventure that should take me across the globe. Hopefully I will have enough dj experiance by then to do gigs in those countries. Actually reading the travel article was a great inspiration! Thank you so much!

ParticipantI am like 30 minutes late typing this… Lets just say its been a really busy week. I just finished putting up my Set up at home… No more DJing on the bed… Now I have something that looks like a studio. I love it. Check it out on my Facebook page here:

As for the week here is the break down.
– I ordered, The Dance Music Manual, and it should arrive sometime tomorow and I cant wait!
– I am up to 23 likes on my page… two more and I can add a vanity URL
– I have not practised as much as I like… since I have been really busy with many other projects.
– My business card is finished. I will get them printed next weekend, cant wait they look amazing.
– Set up a mini home studio.
– Picked out songs for my hour long 40 mix. I havent started it yet again due to time constraints.
– I’ve been on forums night and day… just getting to know people who are as passionate about Djing as I am.
– I have been listening, commenting, and studying what others make. These are my goals for the week:
– I didint do well with my FX practice so I will be focusing on that for a couple of days.
– Finish my hour long top 40 mix.
– practice everyday for an hour, call it a POWER HOUR
– have 30 likes on my Facebook page.
– Start reading The Dance Music Manual once i receive it.thats all for now. I must sleep due to work at 6am.

Doesnt happen fast, actually happens pretty slow, but if you are good people are gonna start noticing you and do the promotion to their friends and the thing goes on. if you got any facebook or twitter profiles also use those to post links to your stuff.
What I DONT do is post comments to other people’s mixes-tracks saying “Hey nice mix-track! I uploaded some of my stuff too! Care to check em out?” Im absolutely disgusted of this whole “flattery exchanging thing” that people seem to use and frankly? I never actually did bother to check out stuff of a guy who posted a similar comment to one of my tracks-mixes.
A really good way to promote along the lines of flattery is to just flatter… Say something great about their mix and give some advice. Don’t post a link to your webpage. People see that you care about their music and will check it out themselfs. If they dont then w/e but they wont put you into their head as “that guy who only wants attention to his mix”
