    >>>”Yeah, there is that.

I did check Flow, and it’s in the same area as what I’m looking for, but is a little bit too basic for my needs.

It’s coming along great, though I am running a little behind schedule for when I hoped to have my prototype done. The audio engine is prototyped, but the user interface prototyping is going a LOT slower than I had hoped. But it IS purty.

I’ll be heading to the US next week, so it will be a couple of weeks before I have a playable prototype, but it has been an awesome learning experience. I am looking forward to having total control over my workflow”

cool, yeah i got that you were writing your own software, my bad if my post implied otherwise, i mainly asked if you looked into flow because what you’re trying to do sounded similar and was curious as to what you thought or if it was similar or not. anyway, you answered the latter part, but rad you’re doing a similar thing, i have played around with flow and found that it is too basic as well, there are some key aspects that just can’t be done with their software, hopefully you can take your idea above and beyond….especially with seemingly simple items, but really imperative at this point in the game, like the ability to run multiple controllers at once….anyway, hope your thing keeps going well for ya…cheers.

i personally prefer rdio over both spotify and pandora at this point. i think rdio has better variety and seems to cater to a more underground or eclectic audience, whereas spotify is more like the tower records type consumer. rdio just revamped their radio station feature also and now seems to be better than pandora on that front as well. as of january it is available in inida.

have you looked at the software from the folks at mixed in key? their program, flow 2.5 is designed for exactly what you are looking to do with your dj sets, live remixing. http://flowdjsoftware.com/
