MemberI tempted by S2 too, it should be smaller but I think it’s a good piece of dj gear

MemberNever used rmx mic input…it’s better to have a simple audio mixer with rmx output in and mic hooked up there

MemberYou can enable effects, keylock and headphone routing for the single sample, those can be useful.

MemberI’m gonna update now
Andrea Negri
MemberI think of some kind of update like 2.1 within the S2 launch.

MemberFrom technical point of view, I will try to put a list below:
– buy music
– study that music (tracks)
– study how to play them in sequence (aka playlist)…for doing it you must check bpm, key etc etc
– study how to mix them in the right way…
– re-play during a gig but you mormally have to change after looking at the crowd…Andrea Negri
MemberThey don’t have to dance, they must enjoy staying in the club and having good time!
And…spend some money at the bar…Andrea Negri

MemberAnother suggestion coming from my best friend (DJ GLR) is to collect information about the company, like:
– what they do
– who is the boss
– from where the boss come from
– company competitors
– etc
During the gig, this kind of info would be very usefull!Andrea Negri
Memberok, but using Ableton for mixing in a “normal” way is not the way I want to go…because I use also VDJ and TP2.
With Live I want to be more creative and create something “special” (aka live-remix).
BTW, Thanks a lot Emma!Andrea Negri
MemberI’m studying hard on warping process and clips preparation…

MemberI did a lot of similar gig, you should have almost all the genre excluding the extreme ones…
Beatles, rock-n-roll, latin must be in your drive.
Get ready to quickly change type of music and hear a lot fo strange requests.
By the way, actual and old radio hits are also needed.Andrea Negri
MemberEmma! you are the Ableton’s Master!
It will take weeks to carefully read your posts…it’s all very interesting stuff.Andrea Negri
MemberSo, you only need a (inexpensive) pc and an optional external soundcard like Audio 2 dj.
