    I already have Traktor Pro so that’s not a problem. I’m just gonna keep my gear in the Numark family I guess :p Also, I already saw the Mixtrack at a SamAsh and it fits on my backpack, so I don’t mind its size 🙂 :p

    Sweet! I use windows now, and yes I’m very sensitive with what I see and download on the net. So I guess I’ll go with windows. I’m very happy with my current laptop for everyday use, but its already 3 years old. Hence, I’d love to get a better/newer laptop and maybe turn this one into a server. xD
    I used FL studio for a while in high school, but it was still only for two or three months so I barely remember what I did 😛 I’ll try both free trials and see which one I feel more comfortable with. Thanks for the advice!

    For sure as soon as I start! 😀 But before I buy this I actually think I need to buy real speakers. I’m currently using a set of Logitech 5.1 speakers, the 150w ones I think. But I think I should get some real speakers, what would u guys recommend?

    Hey there Phil, I found this website by sheer coincidence, and honestly I’m loving it, I’ve already gone back to around August in your articles. So keep up the great work! 😀

    Thanks for the advice! I think I’m gonna go with Traktor for the software because I just found the mappings on the Numark site! I called and they said they would send me a Traktor LE disk since when I bought it they don’t come with it and now they do. Now that I’m gonna get this for free, I would still like to ask which version of Traktor do u think would suit me best with my current setup. (I’m also considering getting some vinyl turntables so I can learn some classic scratching)
    I’m gonna try the free trial for Ableton live, this weekend, along with the sites you mentioned. So I appreciate the help!
