Thanks for the responses…I had played around with the NV for several weeks and liked it then loved it when I saw a DJ put it to use. I then started to inquire about the NS7ii and started to like it as well, saw it in action and put it to use for a couple of hours and liked the potential of it all but I really loved the screens on the NV. So I looked around and saw that the NS7III would be here pretty soon and thought to wait for that. If v2 is loads cheaper with the screens then I will go that route but if not I might as well purchase the newer product. I wont be moving the controller around for a bit so portability is of no real concern yet but being that I’d be doing just wedding DJ’ing when I get into it I don’t think that is such a big thing but if it does become an issue I think the NV will be a good back up controller.

I don’t know if I mentioned this before but I am totally new to controllers in general so not used to anything really. My last use of a TT was back in 1998 or so.

Thanks guys, I sent back my NV and will be waiting on the release of the NS7iii. I did read about the add-on for v2…if price is reasonable i will get the v2 instead. I am new to serato and this whole crates thing but a local DJ told me about setting them for how I’d like to play and once i set that up I believe things will come along eventually.
