I found this really funny because I DJ with my friend, and he uses a Mixtrack Pro, and I have a DN-MC6000. We actually plug his rca’s into the ch1 imput on the denon and use it as four legitamate decks instead of four virtual decks

The Mixtrack actually impresses non-dj’s with its looks, and it has MASSIVE jogs compared to most controllers. I’d really reccomend it with the highest regard. It’s fairly well built, sounds fine, looks decent, has a great amount of features, and is practically a WMD when it comes to bang for the buck

I’m gonna have to say that the DN-MC6000 is a good bet if you want just smooth mixing. The two you are looking at are more controllerist controllers, but if I had to choose, I’d go with the Kontrol S4 as it has an ultra-tight mapping, and comes with a full version of Traktor 2. That’s some serious bang for your buck!
