    Okay it works now, but I still can’t control the volume from the mac it self only from the Mixtrack Pro / speakers and it’s very important for me to control from the mac because the speakers are not in reach. Is there any solution?

    No, in Traktor it works fine, I am doing headphone cueing. But I don’t want to connect the headphones to the audio output in the macbook when I want to hear sounds from the computer and then move it to the Mixtrack Pro when I want to DJ. I want it to be always in the Mixtrack Pro and work on the computer it self too.

    Thanks for the quick answer. Anyway, I can’t hear nothing from the headphones when I select Mixtrack Pro as the sound card.

    Maybe get a Midi Fighter, land some gigs and then get a new controller?

    Thank you all very much, as soon as I sell my Mixtrack Pro I will get a new S2. About the midi fighter, didn’t really understand how to use it with effects.. Can you turn the buttons so you can decrease / increase effect’s amount?

    And what will you do with the effects on the controller and the cues on the controller if you have midi fighter?

    … Okay I think I’ll go with S2 because it’s the cheapest.. But I didn’t find a place where they sell it for 300$?
    Also I found MC3000 and VCI 100 for 500$ and 600$, is there any place they are cheaper?

    What is Midi Fighter exactly? I didn’t understand how to use it with effects and why is it good with a controller?

    I am from Israel. I think I’ll order from US because with the 33% taxes it’s even cheaper than here. I narrowed to these 3:
    VCI 100
    Kontrol S2
    MC3000

    I am looking for a big pitch control, good control on loops, more than 2 effects and nice jog wheels.

    What is Midi Fighter exactly? I didn’t understand how to use it with effects and why is it good with a controller?

    As I said, everything costs much more here and I can’t order because I’ll have 33% taxes.. The S2 costs 670$ here.

    My budget is 600$ to spend in my country (everything costs more here than the USA), in U.S.A it’s something like 400$. Any good controller in that budget?

    Okay, I think I’ll sell my Mixtrack and get a better controller. I don’t have enough money to buy S4 or MC6000 yet (I will after I will land some gigs), so what should I get?

    Thank you for all your answers. Guess I am gonna go with a controller but not certain yet. Couple of questions:
    1. How do you work with your controller? Do you manually beatmatch or just set the bpm equal to the other song without listening and move the pitch bend until it looks right in Traktor?
    2. Do you think I should earn some money before upgrading?
