ParticipantI don’t know if you heard of this, but there’s actually an app created to search for songs. If you listened to a particular song you like, record it and search. It was supposed to be revolutionary but nobody seemed to use it :/

ParticipantA tip my friend taught me was to listen to sets of DJs you love and copy EVERYTHING and try and replicate their set. He said it’s a good way to learn how to mix well. I haven’t got the resources to start though.

ParticipantLol. I actually love trance. So little or no differences between two tracks are pretty welcomed. I’m trying to learn in key mixing. But some tracks DO sound good when there’s a major difference between the two.
I did a trance mix and am FINALLY proud of it. Haha.
