I went for the Kontrol S2 because of Traktor. I am more used to Traktor than to Itch.
It should be arriving this monday.Cool story bro.
I went the other way, instead of S2 I went for a Twitch because of syncing with Ableton and Bread’s mapping for the Twitch for Traktor.

ParticipantCheers buddy.
Seen the Denon SC2000 which is kind of similar too?,

ParticipantI don’t think I mind that, the number one point I need is hands on control over the loops, loop length, filters and effects with a jog wheel to jump round the record to sample from.
I don’t think I need pitch for this. However, I do quite find important is the sync and key function. Could I still say load up track a as master, then load another song in b the press a button for the sync and key?.
Thanks for the reply.

Participant^Thanks, the Behringer looks OK. Is there a way around the pitch fader ie?, way to implement it?
Like I said I really need access to effects/filter and platter to play records, create loops, change loop timings so I can sample from to the MPC. I generally don’t mind if there’s no pitch fade as long as there’s a manner in which I can access to the function.
Also I’m confused, the interface has audio outputs. I be putting it in standalone mode. In the PDF it says I connect via USB which is simple enough, however, I connect the output 1 to the speakers or in this case to the record in of the MPC. So the Contour generates sound?.

ParticipantJust seen this:
Reloop Contour Interface

Does this sound right for what I need, like said want hands on effects, filters, loop and jog wheel. Or go for Twitch or s2?
acronym
ParticipantOr how about ipad+touchosh?

So the Twitch is a good choice? Its not a matter of sounding better, its the interface that counts.

ParticipantPlus can someone explain to me the remix decks, like I said I’m new to Traktor. However, the only thing I miss from the F1 is the jogwheels simply because want I sample records, I skip to different sections of the files hearing stuff to sample.

ParticipantThanks, but with the F1 would I need S2 or S4?.
I have to say outright a S4 is too expensive for me and I think for what I need. Do you know if any other recommendations for h/w controller for the requirements I need?.
I still wait for the F1 but just want to have a backup plan incase.
acronym
ParticipantIt be far too expensive I reckon for me, its lovely but I feel thats kind of overkill when I have a MPC. Like I said need hands on control in setting up loops, and be hands on when applying filters and effects.
So far twitch seems the best option but S2 is in consideration as well.
