    Thank you so much for your answer! Now I’m embarrassed haha. One of my weaknesses is over analysis. Paralysis by analysis they say. And so I really appreciate your answer because I feel good about just choosing one now. I think I’m going to just go with… *drum roll* the ddj-sb2!!! Wow. That felt good. Let’s do this! I’m going to head over to guitar center today! Thanks Vintage!

    Terry_42, I will definitely keep that in mind. I havent entirely ruled out Macbooks, although I am always worried about buying something used so I’d probabky buy it new, despite the price, if I was really set on getting one. Also I’m not even terribly worried about the hardware right now because im only just starting and dont plan on being in the settings you described for a long time.

    Ugh, wait. I feel bad now cause I found some posts that basically answered this question. Maybe I should have searched deeper first. Sorry I am eager to get started. I still am confused on Audio drivers though. I really don’t understand a lot of things when it comes to computers (yeah that probably means you will tell me I should get a Mac but moneyyyyy). So I have to worry about installing Audio drivers if I get a PC running Windows? Isn’t there some that will come with good drivers already?
