I’ve already tried hooking up the sub to tops with xlr connectors. It produces nothing. I think a crossover is just what the Dr. Ordered. It will take the place of a clean box.
I do use the powered satellite outputs, which are the speakon outputs.
If i were to get this berhinger crossover which output would i use for the tops the high, mid, low?
The Berhinger has xlr balanced outputs though eliminating the need for that little box.
On the sub there is a filter switch so that the lower frequencies don’t go tot the tops, and there is also a frequency knob for the sub. When I bought this equipment I thought this was all that was needed. I think the problem is with the RCA jack coming from the controller to the sub not being balanced. Now that’s where I can see needing that little black box.
