ParticipantOkay, it helps but got to other questions…:
– Where do I have Itunes stop making a copy of the tracks I add to Itunes?
– And, how do I trust the analyzing by Traktor? – I keep analyzing and I can tell by the
BPM in some tracks, that it is wrong as well as the beatgrid and I have told Traktor to
analyze a BPM between 60-200 and set beatgrid? – It is so frustrating to have to waste time
to go through all tracks to make sure that their BPM/Beatgrid is correct!Gideon Nielsen
ParticipantOkay all good.
Another question is:
– I have my tracks on Itunes, but also in a separate folder for backups. But tracks are not analyzed through Itunes in Traktor, how do you make it
do that? – Or is it just best to have the main folder connected to Traktor?Gideon Nielsen
ParticipantOkay great – I have done that and has not caused problems since yesterday…
So I hope that will work more consistently 🙂 Until the next Apple update arrives to save us all 🙂Gideon Nielsen
ParticipantThe only two options I have when I got my traktor plugged-in, is:
The traktor s4 and the build in one, on my computer, so you mean the traktor s4 option as the Focusrite?
Or where exactly am I finding where it says “focusrite” in traktor pro? Thanks for your help man

ParticipantThanks for your help and yes, very frustrating!
I have upgraded just yesterday to the newest version although I dont know what version was before that,
but it was still the same problems that I had? – So not sure how much that will help.I had a DJ telling me, as he has the same equipment I have, to in settings:
“Switch the output from the focusrite to built-in output, then switch it back”– Can you confirm if this works and what does “focusrite” mean?

ParticipantWell, since NI has made a public announcement, it must mean that we are talking about a lot of people having these problems due to the software, hence the same as everyone has, because it apparently doesn’t have anything to do with the machine – I was just curious about if there are any tech-people out there who thought that it might be, because I am just getting frustrated with it… 🙁
I haven’t tried that, how do I do that?
But what OS will that go back to after that then?

ParticipantI really like Nigel Stanford, Worakl and Ryan Farish as well and they seems to be no where to be found but Itunes.

ParticipantThanks guys, will look into Beatport more.
Carlton Bethea,
I haven’t really set a budget monthly yet, I probably should…
Since I am new I guess that buying 20-30 tracks should do it, as I need to practice
the fundamentals a lot.I still have yet to really know the genres and the exact differences, although
I like a lot of different house genres and progressive stuff.
Artists include Eric Prydz, Pryda, Deadmau5, Kygo, Avicii, a lot of the 120-130
but also like random tracks here and there in a variety of other genres.—-
Do I need to change anything in Itunes if I download an ACC-file if I have put
it on MP3?
And… When downloading and buying any files, does Itunes keep the files within Itunes,
so they are safe on the computer?
– but should I still save the actual files in a folder on the computer too besides the
backups? -
