I simply burned mp3s onto a cd-r. I shall try using audio cds! I set the burning speed to 10x, perhaps that’s still too high? Yes I am worried that the laser is misalingned, as it would be expensive to fix!
Yes good idea, I’ll check if it can play a store bought cd.
