I’m just getting started DJing after spending the past six months learning some basic Ableton production techniques, and I’m intrigued by the modular approach myself. My thinking:
1. I’d like to learn on touch strips instead of jog wheels
2. I’d like to buy something I can upgrade over time
I thought about starting with a z1 and an x1 as my “beginner controller”. That would give me the option of adding an F1 or another z1 later.
Thoughts on this approach?
