Yeah, getting back to your question – Pune is like a satellite city to Bombay and has one of the most elaborated nightlife possible next to Goa & Bombay. We have had many big names visit due the amazing party going crowd response and some of the venues that are state-of-the-art with world class music systems. Some names worth mentioning – David Guetta, Funkagenda, LMFAO’s dj Lucky Lou, PoPof and many others. Most sought after genres are – Techno, Tech Minimal/EDM. Most Djs are on CDJ 2000s and very few like me like to walk in to a gig with a Mac & a digital controller.
Some well known Djs & Mtv Vjs in India have a formed the first official EDM Music company called submerge (check em out on http://www.submerge.in) who bring in international artists and organize a woodstock like festival called the “Sunburn” which moves from Goa beaches to Bombay to Bangalore and Pune.
