Sounds like your client wants a lot..
If the music is the same in 3 locations then it’s not a massive deal, you’ll nead to hire extra gear, and run cables to each zone, but if they want different music over 3 zones, then they’ll need other DJ’s/options. Up to you, but there is NO way I’d have a video man hooking into my mixer, if their equipment causes any issues, or any hardware fault develops there’s gonna be a problem. Record the music yourself and provide a copy afterwards to video man if they really want good sound on the vid.

Hi and thanks much for the input. That’s basically what I told him, but I’m not the worlds leading authority on gear, so I thought maybe there is stuff out there IE: wireless/wifi kind of gear, that I don’t know about. I cant see running cables, as the venue is large, and I am a one man operation. He was asking about me controlling volume for all 3 from one location. Also I don’t think my S5 can be plugged into for the audio, of which he just wanted the speeches made not music. I told him he might want to look for a bigger company.

    really appreciate your help.

    OK first thing:
    Read this:
    https://www.digitaldjtips.com/2013/04/beginners-guide-to-pa-systems-part-1-basics/

    Next thing:
If he wants this, then PLEASE go to some shop who rents PA equipment and let them set it up and the client pay for it.
Making 3 locations work is easy for someone fluent with PAs, but for you to make all the adjustments right, this is hell.
You will need a good PA mixer, speakers etc. for this and a guy who knows how to balance the locations.
So easiest is to rent this out, you show up, plug your S5 into the PA mixer and go with it.

Good news is that when you have this set up by professionals, they will have a mixer that will allow a record out for the video guy to use :-).

Good (larger) PA’s, mostly of the digital kind, now allow you to create lots of outputs. While normally used for monitor use, they CAN be configured as stereo master outputs as well. This is handy if the music needs to be the same in all rooms but with varying and adjustable volumes. This can all be handled from one central place.

If different music is wanted in different rooms the story becomes a bit more complex, but nothing a pro-PA rental company can’t handle.
