I always see people at Porsche events towing their 911s on trailers with Porsche Cayannes. 🙂

Speaking of DJ History, Cueing and looping techniques pre-date Hip-Hop.

These are probably the one pair I haven’t tried. How are they?

Lightweight. Good sound with good isolation. The headband is almost indestructible. Ear cushions and cord are user replaceable. Not meant to be worn around the neck however.

ParticipantYeah I have heard good things about the TMA-1s. The only thing i really dont like and is just my personal preference is that the ear cushions sit on the ear oppose to around the ear, and that you cant wear around your neck.

The fact that they sit on the ears as opposed to over them was a concern for me too, t first, but after using them for awhile it doesn’t matter. They still do a good job of isolation.
But yeah, you can’t wear them around the neck. But personally, I was never a fan of that.May 29, 2012 at 2:45 pm #1005220Hee Won Jung
Participantyeah its not a matter of isolation for me its a comfort thing…i find any type of headphones that sit on my ear tend to hurt my ear after an hour or so, which is fine when im doing a shorter set but for those long nights…its a PITA

Was sounding great until the can’t be worn around neck comment. Deal breaker for me. Ah well. My Sennheiser HD 25-1 ii’s do smashingly for me.

I’ve had to do a whole set like this, back in the day. The headphone jack thingy stopped working in the mixer. Its interesting but doable.

I gotta disagree here, had my AIAIAI’s for over half a year now and have never felt uncomfortable wearing them around my neck. Admittedly these have been my only set of DJ headphones, so maybe Im missing some sort of ultra comfort feature that’s common in other head phones but they feel fine to me.
