Memberi didn’t even write this but it was written before the mixr’s came out, i actually use them from time to time, just don’t like that the studio

Blockeddr dre headphones are aimed at young kids who wanna look cool walking down the street. they are not dj headphones full stop.. they are such a unbalanced headphone.. to what range???? bass of course. maybe if you dj hiphop.. but for real music…. cutting edge electronica.. you need pioneer HDJ2000… If you put a pair of these on.. you will not walk out of the shop without them.. its that simply

BlockedI’m sure you can DJ without them but you won’t look as cool…lol im just saying there the best. Its not the headphones or the mixing that makes the DJ its the music. Well slated are headphones… I guess.. Each to there own really.

real music? you need to check yourself young man and learn your history.. true hiphop dj’in pioneered things you take for granted, like loops, the ability to cue records, and the fact that the OG’s like Kool Herc, Red Alert, Jazzy Jay, and the rest of the Zulu Nation/Soul Sonic Force etc made the 4 on the floor movement truly take off. So please before you start saying EDM is real music compared to Hip Hop, learn your facts. Rant Over. and btw I use beats and yeah the wire is short and they need batteries, but for what I do and the fact I depend on heavy bass to mix, they do me just fine. and Vinny, you my dawg big homie. big up and one love.

Member^VERY well said durtyjerzy idk what that man’s talking about hip hop isn’t real music… I love DJing hip hop that’s actually what I got started on and I’d hate to think anyone disrespects who paved the way for us to be where we are.

ParticipantI don’t know when this turned in to a debate about the “best” music genre?! I love EDM and Hip-Hop and have respect for both disciplines of DJing. I don’t know of anyone who is more than a bedroom banger who uses Beats by Dre. Not to say they aren’t dope, I haven’t used them for mixing…Maybe they’ve improved cause I remember when they first came out they were overpriced junk with terrible sound.

ParticipantI was thinking the same thing, Steelo. I’d seen everyone walking around campus with those red wires hanging out so I tried them on in a Best Buy and wasn’t impressed. Their build quality was out of this world, definitely one of the best I’ve ever experienced (although my list is rather short), but nothing about the sound quality wowed me.

ParticipantDJ CapRoc, I don’t own these but from what I’ve read the beats become uncomfortable quickly, if I was buying headphones I’d look at sennheisers here’s the link; http://www.sennheiserusa.com/music-dj-headphones-hifi-stereo-adidas-sennheiser_504260

ParticipantI have the non Adidas version of those. Definitely recommend. I really wanted the Adidas ones but at that time they were out of my budget and I got a crazy good deal on mine. I have a tiny head too so they are perfect. Otherwise the Pioneer HDJ2000 or Ultrasone’s are decent.
