I wasn’t aware, can you give me some examples?

ParticipantArmin van Buuren because he’s one of the fewest DJs and producer that makes my skin shiver and you can’t fake that !!! Thumbs up if your skin feels the same.

MemberI have been Holding Back from this Thread as the Big Names (and Fantastic Producers) have kept coming and coming :);
But; my Favourite Producer is a man named Derrick Anthony Brown II (DABII); he is a Dubstep Producer; so obviously not everyone’s Cup Of Tea; but he has released 25 Tracks and I haven’t heard a Bad one yet; in fact they are All Works Of Art :);June 27, 2011 at 8:26 pm #1103DJ Toto

RedOne blatantly ripped off Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello in Judas (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YDX3Mn5API)
Dr Luke ripped off Asphalt’s – Tonight for Daughtry’s song Feels like tonight, which was actually co-written with Max Martin.There are literally dozens of these accusations concerning those three producers floating around, just google their name with plagiarism next to it and you’ll find tons. Some of them aren’t so credible, like when Dr. Luke ripped off a 1968 song for Avril Lavigne’s “Girlfriend” (which he did and he eventually lost the lawsuit) but then again I think it’s more of a tribute than a ripoff when you use old riffs and melodies in newer songs.
The most blatant one for me though was Beyonce’s Run the world, which is simply Major Lazer’s (Afrojack + Diplo) Pon De Floor. They originally weren’t credited for the song because the producer had quite simply stolen it, but when word got out they decided to credit them as writers even if they didn’t even know Beyonce was using their track to make a new song.

ParticipantFor the moment I’m really digging Jamie XX’s style. Really loved the album he did with Gil Scott-Heron.
Clinton Sparks frequents my listens too, especially his work with DJ Snake but he has an even balance of hits and misses 😉
Moby is still one of my fave go-to people when he puts new stuff out. …will come back to share more as alot elude me right now

MemberMy Favourite DJ/Producer at this Moment is a German DJ called ‘DJ Clak’;
He Plays Jazz; Classical; Individual Mash-Ups; with Techno and House; and he is a Genius in My Eyes :cool:;
His Sets and Mash-Ups can be found on SoundcloudJuly 6, 2011 at 10:37 pm #3109ellgieff
MemberMy current favourite DJ is me. Seriously, I can always count on that guy to play the tunes I love, in a way I appreciate, and when I want him to.
Favourite producer is a little (read: LOT) harder. I’m always excited to hear a new Colombo or Kultur tune (would prefer that or to be an and, but stuff happens), Refracture, Great Scott, Hedflux, LuQas, Si Begg … heck, there’s a literal tonne of people whose stuff I make a beeline for when a new release comes.
Favourite producers who I wish would make moar tunes: Angel Farringdon, Chimera, Bil Bless / SOTEG, Lawgiverz, Future Funk Squad …
