MemberI love PVD back in the early 2000’s. At the moment I’m still discovering new artists on a daily basis.
My current favourite is
ShockOne (Drum & Bass)
but it changes weekly 😉June 25, 2011 at 3:15 pm #604fullenglishpint
MemberMord Fustang is killing it for me at the moment.

MemberI always discover new and exciting DJ/producers, but I think for me the most impressive and talented artist is by far Deadmau5.
His music is extremely original. I’ve only recently started listening to dubstep and what I like the most about the genre is that there seems to be no rules of what you can and can’t do. This is something that Deadmau5, with his techie background, has been able to break free of.
I also have a lot of respect for Eric Prydz. Everything he touches is pure gold. The sounds he uses in his tracks are all kind of similar, but every single riff/melody I hear from him is incredible.
Others I’m keeping a good eye on right now are Alesso, Tristan Garner, Skrillex and Feed Me.

MemberI’m really loving Tim Berg / Avcii at the moment. It seems that everything he does is amazing. What I’m really bored of now is David Guetta. Move on please, we know you use Head and Shoulders for silky smooth hair zzz

Just like Daft Punk I like the idea of using a mask to disguise his true identity 😀

There is a big difference between Deadmau5 and the members of Daft Punk. Deadmau5 has never tried hiding his true identity, he just uses the mouse heads to enhance his showmanship with lights and screens on them and wobbles it around.
Daft Punk have been great at hiding who they really are. Heck, they’ve even made a movie about their two robot counterparts, and I don’t think they’ve ever done an interview or a show without the masks on. I’m sure a ton of us here on DDJT wouldn’t even recognize the members of Daft Punk if we passed by them on the street.

Guy seems to be the more elusive of the two since Thomas does most of the talking during interviews. I’ve seen one of his guest appearances at an Ed Banger event on YouTube, he definitely looks a bit older, but I’d still recognize him. Then again, I am an exception, as I have always been a pretty big fan of Daft Punk 😀

Yeah I’ve seen a couple videos of Bangalter, the one where he plays his remix of Signatunes at the Ed Banger party is amazing. What I was pointing out is that most of the people in that room probably had absolutely no idea that half of Daft Punk was playing for them at the moment, but people who know Deadmau5 have for the most part seen what he looks like without a mau5head.

MemberChris Lake! I have quite a lot of his unreleased stuff (my DJ partner and Chris are good mates) and the house riffs he can pull off is out of this world!
Then there is Marco Lys, Jay Lumen and Stefano Noferini.. All brilliant!

ParticipantI’m really enjoing Oliver Koletzki’s work atm, generally speaking it shifts between Umek, Joris Voorn and Spektre

ParticipantAlso a huge Avicii fan.
Love Dr. Dre’s and Kanye’s beats. You can always count on RedOne, Dr. Luke, Max Martin to make solid hits
Favorite Remixers: Jump Smokers, Jason Nevins, Wideboys, Sex Ray Vision, Liam Keegan, Dark Intensity
Skrillex is a true visionary. A constant innovator, he’s really going to make waves in the EDM world.

There, I fixed it for you.
I mean no disrespect against you, but no matter how many hits these producers have made, they’ve stolen way too many from others to be given any respect. Look around, it shouldn’t be too hard to find some.
