The Samson are decent for their price, however do not expect real studio monitor quality and flat response. The built quality also seems to vary hugely. I saw some in the shop that had membranes sticking in directions etc. They still worked, but did not look pretty…

I never tested the Behringers you speak of, but had bad experience with a similar model.

The Gemini costs almost the same as a pair of KRK Rockits, which are in my book the better speakers. Even though you can only get the KRK Rockit 6s for that price, it will be the better monitor.

I have the KRK Rokit 5 G2s and they are working perfect for my home studio. I actually just picked up a second set for my second vinyl setup. Keep in mind one thing… these produce a totally flat “true” response and I’m not sure how much more low end you would get with the 6s vs the 5s. KRK also sell a sub but it is super expensive for what it is…

Same as vinny. I have the 5’s and their perfect. Use to to produce too. Actually dj’d a house party with a couple weeks ago even though I shouldn’t have! Lol

I currently have M-Audio Bx5g2 and I’m upgrading to the Rokit 6’s-perfect for a small bedroom or small
    Room home studio.
