Get a used Mac if you do not want to buy a new one?
I DJ on an old Macbook pro 15” and it is way beyond the lifetime of any Windows Machine (> 4 years) and still works flawlessly. I don’t want to bash Windows or anything, since I use it myself to play games, but I have seen bad things happen to Djs on stage due to crashes etc. and apart from Traktor 2.5 quitting on its own (which seems to be a Traktor bug) I have never ever been let down by my MacBook.
I know DJs that have set aside the laptop and use it exclusively for DJing so nothing interferes with their Windows ASIO drivers and crap… Fact is I have never had to worry about drivers yet on my MacBook and I have tons of software installed and use it all the time….
You can easily get a good used Macbook for 500 bucks.

15″ Macbook Pro. I would definitely recommend saving the extra to get one, whether new or second hand. Much less hassle and more reliable. If you are going to stick with Windows (which I personally would not recommend), you will still need to spend a bit of cash to get a decent machine. Cheap laptops have cheap parts that gives you poor performance. The cheapest would be to build your own, either completely custom or through a brand like Dell (although I hear some Dell components are questionable)

Just to echo what the others have said, get a MAC. Fewer headaches.
If you’re going to stick with a PC, I’d recommend using a RAIN.
