For my style yes. denon have 4 hot cues per layer, 2 layers total 8 hot cues which is what I use, but you can use only 4 at a time. The Reloop have 4 hot cues and 4 sampler per layer, 2 layer total 8 hot cues and 8 samplers, 4 of each at a time.
But been midi I can map 8 hot cues in 1 layer and the 8 sampler in the 2 layer, which is what I need.
The other option is the vci 400 with the pads but $999.00 no way.
