Something like the Reloop Tape would work.

Another option is a small PA mixer with USB. You can then hook your controller up to the mixer and record the mixer master through USB. This will give you 24-bit/96KHz recording (in the case of the Yamaha AG03/AG06) in WAV in Cubase (supplied). You can then do full post production if you like to make sure your recording is perfect before you distribute it.

I keep a Zoom H1 with me for when I need to record. Very small, very portable, has stereo mics should you wish to record a conversation sometime, plus a line level input so you can record your sets. Has lots of settings to help you save space on your storage when recording, or bump up the quality when needed.

Oh, and it was pretty darn cheap too.

I have a 128GB iPhone and a recording connector from some chinese company for 50 bucks. Works flawlessly.

Another Tascam DR40 user here…as a 4 channel recorder, the especially cool thing about it is that you can record in “Dual Mode” with one of the tracks being set at -12dB lower than the other (stereo track=two channels btw) so you have a “safe” copy in case of clipping that you can edit in if needed (or use instead). The Tascam also have proper balanced line-level inputs with decent connectors – XLR or 1/4inch rather than the stereo mini jacks of most recorders.
