    Well I have a Macbook pro, and a traktor S2? I am pretty good at mixing or at least thats what people tell me.

    Upload some mixes and put them in the mixes forum. Advertise yourself, get gigs and play out.

    Unfortunately, you’re 17…so many 21 and up venues won’t touch you. I’d suggest outside of uploading mixes online, work to be a guest DJs on online shows and such. Maybe look at the local rave scene or any teen clubs that might exist.

    Participate in DJ Competition also to get your feet wet,
    and make some friends in your local area with the same interest is very important

    Can you beatmatch manually? I mean, people thought I was good at mixing whilst I was still syncing everything automatically and quantising loops. Your audience may not be able to tell wether you’re skilled or not. Mine isn’t, that’s for sure.
