I landed a steal at guiatr center for my MC-6000

$799.00 Retail, Traded my RMX ($100 for that) + 15% off for the trade in + $100 off purchase of $499 or more. Also I had $100 in gift cards from credit card rewards…. with tax grabbed it for around $500. Be patient and the deals will come, for me it was the perfect storm of coupons… lol

I’m a mac user for djing, however for my day job… when ever I’m on the road I have an asus laptop. I do a lot of 3d modeling on it, zero problems. I would suggest getting at least 4G of ram though. HP is over priced in my opinion and I feel like toshiba is falling off the map as far as quality goes.

    Hope this helps

Well I got a Ecler EVO5 and Denon HS5500, but looking at the Kontrol S4. The S4 has everything I need but I’m loving the quality of my EVO5. Having trouble deciding….

I’m definitely wanting the American Audia DMS 4. What appeals to me is the analogue capabilities. I don’t really know of any controllers that has analogue capabilities and can work independently from a laptop.

I Used it today at Samash ( music and equipment store) and to be totally honest i didn’t like it at all it was totally disappointing, my Denond Mc-6000 is by far better made, the jog wheels, faders, buttons, are very cheaply made, and plus i would not buy a equipment that is Software dependable! my personal suggestion is if you want it just because is a Pioneer, and because its “club stander” look into other products.

look into a Denon Mc-6000 it works independently no need of Software, if you just want to use it as a audio card with your laptop you can…. if you want to connect a aux cable it works, if you want to use Cd’js or turn tables it works. and plus its 1000% better made then the DMS 4!
