if this is a tag competition which is what it sounds like its highly unlikely that either of you will win said gig unless you got a million friends on faceache or titter. It sounds like he is a “mate” so tag him, let him know that you want a chance of the gig so he tags you.
Either that or you don’t bother and your friendship ends forever, the hate, the lies… you cant handle it, loose your job turning to the drink you loose your house, your car, the wife up and leaves and you have to sell your technics for food. I don’t think you have thought through the consequences of not tagging him, This could potentially escalate. Or then again it might not!
