    Well the NI website has a comparison chart of features. Basically the micro has less extras and some stuff you need more clicks to get to.
    I would not use either as a DJ controller. As an add-on for adding live sounds and performance to your DJ set yes, but to control DJ software both are not very well suited.

    So between micro or not is personal preference, I could probably do with the micro but did get the big one as I always feel I would have left something out. But for DJ controllers -> neither.

    What about just making/producing/recording music with maschine by itself?
