    Output on Twitch is fine. It may technically be low, I don’t know, but it is fine – I have DJed in many places with the Twitch including at BPM and no complaints. Haven’t come across those bugs but this stuff tends to get ironed out. But at the end of the day it’s down to software – Traktor vs ITCH. That will make your decision for you.

    Also throw the rumored Denon DN-MC3000 in the mix if you are looking at Traktor…it should come in at about $500 same as twitch.

    i to am looking to move on from my current setup (numark omni control running tractor pro) i was looking at the s4 but think its just to big so am now looking at the s2 but should i wait and see what the denon is like? oh im so confused right now.

    software is not an isue i am a tractor fan so will run the new pro 2 software , its just the controller upgrade i need help with..

    Simon if the DN MC6000 was anything to go by then I think we can expect great things from the MC3000. I’m holding out for that unit as well because I was a little disappointed by the S2. I think it’ll be worth the wait.

    i got the cash burning a hole i want a new setup what to get???????????

    shall i just get the s4 even though its so big, or the pioneer or even the denon 6000

    No official release date yet. I’ve checked the Denon forums but it’s all speculation at this stage and I don’t want to give you incorrect information. I’ve emailed Denon but havn’t heard back yet. Phil will probably have a better idea or some inside info perhaps ?

    In terms of which to get out of S4/PioneerDDJ/DN-MC6000. It really comes down to personal preference and what features are more important to you. All three are good controllers each with their own strengths.

    If I was to briefly sum up all 3 (in my humble opinion I stress), I’d say that the DDJ is the easiest to use out of the box and get started on. S4 is the most tightly integrated with the software and the MC6000 is the most “professional” of the three. There’s obviously more to it than that (as usual Phil has done excellent reviews of all of them just do a search under equipment).

    I’ll keep you posted when I find out more info !

    done it got an s2. really wanted the denon mc6000 but couldnt aford it at £600 so got the s2 at £469

    How are you liking it? I’m have a similar trouble, choosing the S2 or the Twitch. The S2’s lack of an input is really turning me off though. That and the small size of the Twitch is really appealing, and my RMX is getting old and heavy now.

    im liking it so far the audio quality over the omni is so much better the cues are spot on the sample deck takes some geting used to but im getting there, there are lots of short cuts via the shift key so you dont have to touch the laptop ATALL. but yes i will miss the lack of inputs also. but i can add an ipod via a phono splitter just in case the laptop goes down during a set as i use active speakers this is posible. out of 100, i give a 85 at the mo
