    Dream gear,hmmm,just a simple Gemini CDMP 7000 for me at this point.I’d love to get my paws on that 1k euro piece of gear.

    well…my dream is almost true. i just ordered my ddj-sx and i have the hdj-2000’s. the only thing left to get is a f1. Once i get the gear im saving up for a studio speaker set up. most likely a rokit 5 and a 10s. and a pa system too.

    Thats cool! What made you go for the DDJ-SX instead of a Traktor Kontrol S4? The DDJ-SX has a lil better quality and maybe a few more features but i personally like the look, feel, and layout of the S4 more :

    Currently NS 7 II, but it is much too expensive at the moment for me.

    I think I’d really like 2-3x TT and a DVS setup, to allow for that vinyl “feel” and the ability to play with digital or analog. I’ve never used turntables before, but I know I would enjoy it.

    My current setup is just a Mixtrack PRO with an iPad running DJ Player, it works pretty well after proper mapping.

    I like using both programs, so it was easier for me just to get the sx.
