The Numark NS7 II is pretty much amazing for me. Motorized platters, and everything else you could ever want.

Just would have to be a Traktor one, with sctratch certification. Adding TT’s would be nice.

My dream controller would first and foremost be “modular”. I would get to decide how many faders, knobs and buttons it has, how these are placed on the surface, what kind of midi messages it sends and offer the ability to modulate a control with another control (i.e. turning a knob also switches on a button etc. etc).

…..Lemur gets pretty close to it!

Well i have 2. My first might not be classified as “controller” but my second sure is! Also im including other things i would have in my setup 😛
    1. CDJ 2000 nexus x2 (Running HID into Traktor)
    DJM 900 Nexus
    Midi Fighter Spectra x2
    HDJ 2000 headphones

    2. Traktor Kontrol S4
    Midi Fighter Spectra x2
    HDJ 2000 headphones

    🙂

I’d want a midi controller that really just looks like two CDJ 2000 NXS’s bolter onto a 4 channel mixer.Doesn’t have to have a built in audio interface but one would be appreciated. One thing though is i’d want the platers motorized. That’s all i’d want from a controller.

A pair of Pioneer CDJ 1000s….and a Rane mixer. Trying to step away from controllers/laptops… :p I’m saving up now… so hopefully in a year I’ll be able to buy the equipment I want/need.

Well..uhh… I’m already living my dream.
    The 4Tracktrigger.

I’m DJ’ing without jogwheels at the moment… but I’m thinking of a purpose build jogwheel-controller for those rare occasions that I might be wishing to have one. (I’m not into scratching)
That would be a single DDJ-SX jogwheel, buttons for deck a-b-c-d and buttons for “key” “vinyl” and “flux” mode for Traktor….

Basically a Kontrol S4 with NS7 style platters, 4×4 Maschine style pads for each deck, and physical controls for all 4 FX units

As I haven’t tried the NS7 II, I will go with NS7 for now.

A cross over between the Numark NS6 and the Pioneer DDJ- SX would be cool… Or maybe just the NS6 II since Numark already has the NS7 II

Take a Kontrol S4, remove the jogs and replace them with modified F1’s (some rearranging would be necessary, clearly). Replace the hot cue/sample buttons with slightly larger pads (think DDJ-SX). Pop off some knobs and faders, slap on some DJTT Chroma Caps, maybe add some cool LED stripes, just for fun, and we’re good to go. 😀

You wouldn’t class yourself as a controllerist by any chance would you?
