    Although it was supposed to happen last september and, due to circumstances, still hasn’t, I have decided to go “pro” as far as website design.

    Just as I think a graphic (website) designer won’t do very well as a DJ, I believe that my strength is in DJ-ing, not trying to make websites. So I have someone who developed my logo and company style. The website will be and extension of that.

    Nothing says “amateur” like a standard website adapted from a generic template, just my opinion. If you are serious about your business, get pro’s to do this kind of stuff. It will look soooo much better. The costs is not the shocking either. Couple of hundred should get you a very nice custom page.

    If you’re a rookie and have no clue, then try a template or simple system like Wix or Squarespace.  When you’re growing and getting paid, then pay someone to make you a solid website that pushes your brand.
