Kinda depends on whether it needs internet access to login. If it doesn’t I think it’s an ok way to go. I can see the way of thinking behind it in that case.
I believe that if you’re on your own computer, you wouldn’t need to log in more than once. If you’re using someone elses’s computer you definitely would need internet access so the system will know which version you have the rights to for access.
