Maybe get a Midi Fighter, land some gigs and then get a new controller?

Thanks, it’s an idea. But i need more knobs for using effects. The midi fighter isn’t for me i think.

How about a S2/ Denon MC3000 / Reloop Jockey III Master Edition or maybe the Pioneer ERGO and additionally buy an Allen & Heath Xone:K2? It’s a little bit pricey but I think you could use it for a long time. (I listed all the controllers so you can decide which one you like best, but I’d prefer the Denon MC3000)

Here’s the link to the review of the Allen & Heath Xone:K2 from Digital DJ Tips: http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2012/03/review-video-allen-heath-xone-k2-dj-midi-controller/

Hope I could help a little bit 😉

I just upgraded from the Vestax Spin a few months ago to the Numark NS6, and it’s sick. I can highly recommend it. I was debating between the NS6 and the S6, and it came down to the feel of the jog wheels for me.

I started with the Spin and then upgraded to the S2 a few months ago and it was a great move for me. First, I went from Djay to Traktor, so you’re already ahead of me there, but the S2’s integration is seamless. Add to it the DJTechTools mapping, and it’s a really great system. Plus I just figured out that I can use my Spin as a control for decks 3 + 4, so now I can work on 4-deck mixing. I would think if you’re going to have a lot of gigs in September, you should get the new controller now to start working with it. With the S2 price drop, it’s a really affordable option. But I haven’t tried the NS6, so I can’t compare to that experience. Congrats on the first gig!

Thanks a lot for answering ! I’ve bought the S2 🙂 ! Great controller, i’ll use it for the first time on 26th June. But the FX2 button of the first FX section is not working very well. So after that gig i’ll return it to fix the problem…
