This is a great controller that would be a good investment. It shouldn’t be too difficult to learn on and you won’t outgrow it any time soon. If you run Itch then Vestax is the way to go, in my opinion. the layout is pretty standard for DJ equipment and you will figure out the other features with the manual, youtube and a little research.

I agree, the VCI-380 still has the “usual” DJ workflow making it easy to learn on. I really like it.

ok i bought the controller and have been playing around with it. is it possible to JUST use headphones with this unit without external speakers? i was struggling getting sound output with this until i changed my output in my computer from ‘headphones’ to vestax. once i did heard that i could play songs but i can’t get sound from the deck on the right side. left side works great. what am i doing wrong?

EDIT: fixed the issue as the deck was in mixer mode. changed it to PC and can hear the second deck now. now the issue I’m having is i can’t hear anything from the right side on my headphones, so everything is playing just off the left side.

No idea, it should just work, there’s no balance control and no sound config – is it on PC or mac? Maybe if you’re on PC there’s an audio driver issue…
