    If you want to get into production, then it’s absolutely worth it to dive in.

    When you produce a mashup in a DAW, you have features not available in DJ software that would give your mashup a professional and polished sound.

    If you do nothing else, you should at least master your “live” mashup recording so it’s levels are on par with the professionally produced tracks in your collection.
