If you had read the forum you took the tsi from, you would have seen that this has already been done by a number of users.

Firstly you need a program to convert keystrokes (HID) into MIDI control codes / notes.

Most people use bomes or LoopBe.

another option would be to open up all devices so that the keyboard and mf are in the same mapping section, then click and select learn and use it how you wish.

I did read the forum but the thing is, I am using TP2 and that was Traktor 1, and it doesn’t work the same for some reason, as said by others on there. Mr stifffy, how would I “open up all devices” like that? That sounds like a perfect option but i can’t figure out how to do it.

Oh, one of my problems is that the Bome converter is not working right. I am getting an error for a feature unsupported on the mac version yet, which is generic key strokes “in”. Until that works, I’m stuck…

sorry my mistake, it only works if you wanted to use another midi controller, you could duplicate the first one, and click the in and out ports and basically change it to your controller and then click learn and do it this way, one thing I could recommend trying would be to search midi qwerty keyboard and install the drivers and try it this way, it means your standard keyboard will send a midi signal without too much messing about then you can try the first suggestion.
