    I agree.
    This is why many DJs with this kind of controllers only use deck 3 and 4 as additional queues for songs rather than mixing 4 decks (which honestly I rarely see).
    For me this was why I got the Terminal Mix 8 as it has 4 channel faders and EQs, I could not get along with that problem either.

    Even on a 4-channel controller, I’d rather have two actual extra controllers (like the Denon SC-2000s or even midi mediaplayers). Forget to press the deck change button (or in a hurry not FULLY pressing it) and suddenly you are backspinning your playing track. Funny looks guaranteed (just smile – spread your arms and take a bow!).

    My MC6000 had 4-channels and deck change, but I hardly ever used it. Like Terry said, if you know you’ll be playing something like Happy Birthday but are waiting for the signal, you cue that track up in both deck 3 and 4 and you can always start it in seconds 😛 .

    Thx for the replies guys.

    @Terry
    : you could say that it is actually the as using your sampler banks?

    Uh I do not quite understand the question. I use the sampler banks with the performance pads of my Terminal Mix 8 and I use a korg nanopad that I midi mapped for sample changing. I have been wondering to get a reloop Neon, but I am not decided yet.
