Hey! I always record on Traktor my mixes just so I can hear how they sound. (Most I delete>)
At the top right of the program where fx 2 is, you can toggle the “record mix” or toggle back to the fx2.
The mix is recorded onto a designated place in your computer in wave form so you should convert it into mp3 format. You can change in the settings where on your computer the mix is recorded. I always turn up the volume a little of the recording but not too much otherwise there will be distortion in the entire set.
(used to be that you could record all the motions of the buttons that you pressed as well, for instance you could watch the traktor buttons move on there own as the mix played out, but i’m not sure if that capability still exists)

Hey thanks! One more thing my Hot Cue buttons on the software aren’t working, the same problem happens with the fx buttons, any ideas?? Thanks 🙂

Do you have the LE version of Traktor or the full version. In Traktor LE you can’t use the hotcues. And what controller do you use?
In Traktor LE you can not use all the FX. So that could be the problem of the FX buttons not working.

Uploading to Soundcloud is real simple. Just click on the upload button on top of the screen. It`s right next to your profile picture. Then you can select a file from your computer. You can also ad a picture for your mix if you want.

I would still push you all not to upload mixes on SoundCloud. Use Mixcloud, Mixcrate, and/or reverbnation.

SoundCloud often deletes DJ mixes…as they want to be the place where you upload tracks.
