I’m on a budget but for the ($500) the N4 got satisfied me. Its more like a mixtrack wit 2 more decks added to it. Kinda feels natural for a new piece of hardware

The N4 and Terminal Mix 4 are good choices for VDJ in that range.

If you want to go all out and map the unit completely yourself (as the standard mapping IMHO is not good) the VCI-400 is also an excellent VDJ controller. But as I said you should map it yourself completely.

TM4, or if you fancy changing software, the DDJ-SX looks amazing

The Denon MC-6000 is also ready for VDJ (in the US it is bundled with VDJ LE) and a very well built unit (like a brick I’d say), this might be important if you take your controller places. Reviews have been good. It’s also a full stand-alone mixer and very versatile when it comes to hooking up other stuff.

The Pioneer DDJ-SX has got me really interested. Would I be able to use it with Virtual DJ Pro? I am thinking maybe I could invest in that and map every single button to do as I wish?

Virtual Dj Pro does support Pioneer but I’m not sure if there is an official support, meaning a customer has mapped the controller to virtual dj and has put it on the virtual dj site.
