    Sound advantage? seriously?
To me all the software sound the same and scratching is where Serato beats Traktor any day of the week.
I do not see any software of the big 3 as an “advancement” over the other, they cater to different style DJs.

VDJ has tons more features than Traktor and Serato has a way easier workflow.
If you are happy with the DJ software you are using, then there is no need to change anything.
The only advance you can think about is switching from Serato Intro to Serato DJ, as it will give you loads more options and be on par feature wise with Traktor (sans remix decks, which I have yet to see anyone use effectively other than Moldover).

Anyone have any thoughts on Mixvibes Cross?. I tried demos of Traktor and Mixvibes and found the interface of Mixvibes better. I cannot justify the cost of Serato as a solution.

I just need to import my tunes and have a better look.

I bought Mixvibes CrossDJ in desember but had some problems mapping it to my DDJ SX because for some reason it kept loosing my midi out mappings when I had cross and my XML editor opened so I went back to Traktor as I did not want to spend alot of time mapping CrossDJ to my DDJ SX because I’d rather spend time DJ’ing. But last week I only had one gig so desided to give CrossDJ one more go and started mapping the DDJ SX all over again after 2 days of mapping I was convinced what software I wanted to use from now on. Monday I upgrated my CrossDJ to Cross and It just suits me much better then Traktor. Traktor does have better FX and Sampler/Remixdeck (If you have an F1) but I only used the Remixdecks maybe 2-3 time while giging. Only FX I ever use are Echo Freeze and Ice reverb so I won’t miss to much frome there.
Beatgridding is miles better in Cross and the layout is also better (Key detection might be on the way seen hints on the forum) Liberary is also uncomparable better then Traktors. All Pioneer CDJ’s are HID suported in Cross.
Traktor is verry good software but after using it for 1.5 year I don’t feel so much connection to my music to much of my DJ’ing has become reliant to what info is on the screen.
Cross looks and works in some ways much like SeratoDJ bouth in colors and liberary. Cross for me looks more modern and not like a DOS DJ software (thats what I think every time I open SeratoDJ)

Hmm, I think I’ll buy Mixvibes Cross and try it out, I always hear positive things about it.

Yeah, it seemed very low profile on here and recently just lots and lots of people you hear about using it.
