    There is no convincing reason.
It is all about the workflow. If you use traktor, your workflow has to change and many people like traktor because they can expand beyond what CDJs are capable off (e.g. F/X or remix decks) and expand their setup with a NI F1, midi-fighter etc.

If you are happy with what you have and do not feel the need for more F/X or remix decks, then by all means keep using what you have.

I went from controller to using CDJs due to needing a multi format platform. I also wanted to be able to use my full selection of music without the need for a laptop. I was a Traktor user so still wanted a music management programme for some of my gigs hence going with the CDJ’s and RekordBox
With your set up and style of mixing you’d probably loose more than you’d gain. However, going to a DVS could open up a new world of mixing for you. If you did want to go to DVS I’d sell up and use the money to get a high spec controller set up and still have some cash for a weekend away.

How are you finding RB? I’ve nothing but issues and the new release seems even worse. I’m going to do a complete uninstall tonight and try a fresh clean install. I’ll ahve re-analyse my collection which takes about a week but it’s that or nothing.

fair comment, it’s not perfect. My #1 gripe is the frequency of tracks loaded from your laptop crashing the CDJ 2000…always happens either v. close to the end of the track playing or when you think you’ve just discovered the perfect track to mix in! I just reset the CDJ by powering off and on, to be fair this whole process only takes around 10 seconds but v. inconvenient nonetheless. I just uploaded the new release, I was hoping they would have sorted this issue but sounds like the opposite! It’s really the simplicity of RB that I like, the drag-and-drop to each deck and the quick search function. But I’m well aware that all the other software packages have this too… hence the reason for my original question. One has to assume that Pioneer will sort the crashing…
