It has far better jogwheel handling for 3rd party controllers too – finally.

Actually yes… I thought it was a bit odd… but yeah my scs3 jog wheels felt different after the install.

Thanks dj hessler…. The high cpu load affects me. switching off multicore did not help.

    Where you getting drop-outs?

‘stuttering’ drop outs with crackles on top! The cpu usage is around 50% on start up but 2 decks max’s it out. (sometimes even one deck does).

It might be worth the effort to try raising the Latency or

Read the chapter about troubleshooting for latency issues in the manual.
It might help until NI fixes the failure…..

Thanks for the advice, I will try that. If all else fails I will just head back to 2.0.3 until the next upgrade is available. Either way there is a fix.

Yup…maxes out my CPU as well (AMD Phenom II X4 N970 Quad-Core @2.1GHz). The main issue occurs when loading tracks onto decks – it instantly shoots up to 100% CPU AND sends a buzzing sound through my speakers.

I’m gonna head back to 2.0.3 and wait until they optimize it for their new features.

From NI forum: “NEW/IMPROVED FEATURES: Multi-core processor support” :p

Have you tried disabling Multi-Core processor support?

Nope. Didn’t know you could do it. Thanks!

It’s in the preferences. There’s a box to uncheck. That should do it.

Ok so 2.1 seems to be fine for me with my S4. Set up my EVO5 yesterday and I was having issues with CUP on deck B only. Checked my mappings and rebooted both MBP & Traktor but still no go. So I went back to 2.0.3 and no issues but I am having audio drop outs with the EVO5. Gonna do more searching but I just ran it 2 hrs with Wifi off and no issues. Need to do more testing.

There are known bugs with Traktor 2.1.1
