    Well I already switched from Traktor to Serato, as for me the remix decks are:

    – Only for live remixing

    – Which Ableton Live does better (in my opinion)

    – Not easy to use and map

    – I have yet to see a DJ make full use of them other than in a demo video

    – For my sets the sample player of Serato is more than OK, if I do live remixes I have a mapped controller to Ableton Live 9 and mix that in

    I have recently started using the Remix Decks and the way i use them is not actually for live remixing but for Hyping the crowd (stuff like Hands in the air and other loops like that to throw in) and then for transitions, i have taken loops from different tracks that i can throw in if needed to spice it up a bit… Might give it a try to build a live remix set or mash up set but have not really put too much time into it yet

    Then basically you are using it like any sample player in any DJ software… you do not need Traktor for that…

    Never use them.
