I hve used an S4 since january and it is a great controller. clipping happens because of the operator not the hard/software. I have not had the issues you say, although i cannot upgrade past 2.0.3 due to my laptop being underpowered. Still 203 works fine so I don’t really need the upgrades.

Well, the jogs can have issues with vibrations due to their specific nature on the Kontrol series. Apparently Porter Robinson has had some issues with that.

Then again, most of us don’t play the kind of venues he does… 😀

Solid controller, the pros outweigh the cons, and you can never go wrong with the industry standard when it comes to midi controllers. It’s tested and true. My only small issues (but are def. not deal breakers) are the volume meter LEDs, could be better. Of course most other controllers don’t have them at all. And the other thing is the hot cue and play buttons being too stiff. They work but could be made better.

No clipping, no freezing. Traktor 2.5 has performance problems fixed in 2.5.1 forward.

My only complaint is that it’s somewhat impractical for gigs due to size unless you control the DJ booth space. Otherwise it is the most integrated SW/HW solution on the market just now.
