    I checked and your laptop has USB 2.0 ports. Here are you laptop’s specs if anyone else want to dig a little deeper.

    I’m sure someone a little more familiar with kontrol s2/s4 will straighten this out for you. Just hang tight.

    I think i’ve worked it out. I went to Device Manager and double clicked the icon with an exclamation mark next to it. Then I followed the New Hardware Found popups that happen with Microsoft XL. It seems to be working now. Thanks for your reply Vinny.

    Gonkboy.
    You really need to carefully read the manual for your S2 and for Traktor pro IMO.
    Then I suggest you get a copy of the Traktor bible.
    After that you can start using the S2………
    That way you will get the most out of your equipment and software and you would not have to be upset by such things you just did.
    Your problem will accor again if you start Traktor before the S2 is connected and started because then Traktor will not find your S2 soundcard and therefore it will chose the internal soundcard of your PC.

    I’m having the same exact problem. Except I cant find the solution. When I click on the exclamation mark in the device control panel I cant find a solution. Please help.

    Its all clearly spelt out in the manual. If its not there it will be in the support section of the Native Instrument website. Take a little more time to do things right from the beginning and you will have a much better experience.
