I would try and get that down to 40 – 50 processes running. Sounds like you have something/s that’s hogging the CPU you could take a hammer to the problem and do a new install of Windows 🙂

going to “msconfig” and turning off programs in the startup tab and services that don’t need to run
remember to hide all Microsoft services. Most have descriptions so you will know what to keep.
