Traktor Pro 2 skipping/glitches using S4 & Windows

I do agree though, those recommendation don’t come for nothing.

However, Windows 7 has Indexing on by default and the recommendations don’t specify the minimum speed of your actual harddrive. You could hook it up to SATA-3 and still have poor performance due to throughput limitations on disk itself.

Hey Guys i just bought the Kontrol s2 today installed the traktor pro 2 software and i am have the EXACT same problem… i am running on a dell studio 1558 with a i3 350 2.27ghz 4 gig ram win 7 64 bit… my machine is clean n fast as on all other apps, i have been running traktor with the audio 4 dj on a pair of cdj 800’s for 12 months playing live gigs with some set upto 4 hours and its NEVER missed a beat… but now with traktor 2 n n the kontrol s2 it cracks pops skips n so on….. has anyone seen traktor 2 run on a setup like myn??? i have tried all the above tweaking short of the dule boot as my hdd is loaded up hard and if i can sort it without reinstall id be stoaked… also one last question…. does anyone know if i install the

any help woould be great as i have switched over as i am moveing to Newzealand and have a resedency there n would like to sort this out so i dont look like a fool… transpoorting my cdjs n my life is too hard… the s2 is compact n has all the features i need… thank you

um also.. i just tried to go back to traktor 1 to see if i could run the s2 on that … but had no luck… is there a mapping out there for it???

For all those using Dell lappies, the USB2.0 port is your friend and run in full screen mode. I’ve got an XPS15 and fortunately never had a problem and haven’t had to run any optimisation (wifi and antivirus are still running).
