    You can change what type of input the deck is…click on the deck (a b c or D) and it will have a drop down menu for either Live input(ipod/cdj/etc.) remix deck or track deck.

    These can be switched on the fly whenever you need.

    Just a note that for this to work the laptop also has to run, so it’s not a 100% fail-safe solution in case you have laptop and/or S4 mixer HW problems.
